Internet facility in 37.8 percent of families, smartphone in 73 percent


It is seen that 37.8 percent of the families have access to the Internet.

According to the National Census 2078 report published by the National Statistics Office on Friday, 37. 8 percent i.e. 25 lakh 14 thousand 510 families have reached the Internet.

The number of municipalities with access to internet facilities is 45.7 percent, while the number of rural municipalities is 21. 5 percent.

Similarly, 73 percent of Nepali families have access to smartphones, while access to ordinary mobile phones has reached 73.3 percent of families.

Apart from this, computers/laptops have reached 15 percent of the families. According to the local level, access to computers and laptops has reached 19.9 percent of municipalities and 4.9 rural villages.
