ISPAN urges health office to comply with health department’s decision to vaccinate
The Internet Service Providers Association of Nepal (ISPAN) has drawn attention to the non-compliance of the District Administration Office and the District Health Office with the decision of the Department of Health Services to provide vaccine against COVID 19 to the employees of Internet service providers.
ISPAN has issued a statement urging the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Telecommunications Authority and other concerned bodies to take the issue seriously despite the decision of the Department of Health Services to provide vaccine against COVID 19 twice. Aspan has urged the District Health Office and District Administration Offices to abide by the decision of the Department of Health Services without any hindrance.
The Department of Health Services had decided to give the vaccine on July 12 considering the risk of corona infection as the employees of the internet service providers have to go from house to house.
After that, the Ministry of Health and Population also directed the Department of Health Services to take necessary action.
Even then, the Department of Health Services decided to vaccinate. However, Aspan has drawn attention to the fact that the employees of the internet service providers have not been able to get vaccinated even after making two such decisions.
