Japan breaks internet speed record, data transfer in 319 terabytes per second

Japan has broken the internet speed record by transferring data at 319 terabytes per second. According to the motherboard, scientists at Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communication have broken the Internet speed record by shuffling data at 319 terabytes per second.

This is twice the speed of previous research by British and Japanese researchers. They transferred data at a rate of 179 terabytes per second in August 2020.

Earlier there was only one fiber optic line but this time four fiber optic lines were used. This system tends to be expensive. Scientists believe that this could make 6G even more real.
