Lenovo M9 Android tablet unveiled

Lenovo has released the Lenovo Tab M9 Android tablet at an affordable price, keeping students in mind. The recently launched tablet has been released in two variants.

The first variant comes with LTE cellular connectivity while the second comes with Wi-Fi model. It has many powerful features like 9-inch display, MediaTek Helio processor, Dolby Atmos audio.

Lenovo’s Tab M9 runs on Android 12 and the company is promising three years of security updates and one Android OS update for the tablet.

It has a 9-inch HD LCD TFT display with a peak brightness of 400 nits. The display has also received TSV Rheinland (Eye Care) certification.

The tablet is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC chipset with up to 4GB of LPDR4X RAM. Lenovo Tab M9 has a 5100mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

The tab is claimed to provide up to 13 hours of video playback, up to 15 hours of music playback and up to 12 hours of web browsing time.

Lenovo has provided an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus on the Tab M9. It has a 2 megapixel selfie sensor in front.

It includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, a headphone port, and a USB Type-C port. It is preloaded with Google TV, Netflix and YouTube Kids. It also supports face unlock feature for authentication.
