Postgre conference is being held at Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel on 28th and 29th of Baisakh i.e. 11th and 12th of May.
The conference, which was held in Nepal for the first time in 2018, is being held again for about 5 years. It is said that training related to PostgreSQL will also be organized before the conference.

What is Postgre Conference?
Nepal PostgreSQL User Group is organizing a Postgre Conference. The Postgres Conference is an event about the PostgreSQL open source database platform.
The conference is being held in Nepal for the second time. Earlier, we did it for the first time in 2018. Then there was a gap due to the corona epidemic. This time 8-9 international speakers are coming.
Representatives of industry, educational, government and non-government organizations will participate in the conference. Training will be held on May 9 and 10.
The training fee is fixed at 10,000 Nepali Rupees. Similarly, the main conference will be held at Kathmandu University Dhulikhel on May 11 and 12.
What is ProstaGrey SQL?
It is a robust platform for storing and retrieving data. Recently, in the case of Nepal, ProstaGrey SQL is used more in GIS applications.
He is also organizing training as a pre-event of the conference. But isn’t it expensive?
The training fee seems a bit high at first glance. 10,000 fee is inclusive of kit, training materials and accommodation. On top of that, we have given a discount of 2,000 to students.
Although it seems expensive at first glance, the fee is reasonable according to the facilities. In training, we teach from basic to advanced. Experienced people will give training. Participants in the training will also receive a certificate.
What kind of people can participate in the conference?
Database administrators, database developers, IT admins, system admins, government IT officers, students and others can participate in the conference.
How to participate in the Postgre conference?
The conference has its own website. You can register your name according to which training or conference you want to participate in by clicking on registration at pgconf.org.np.
The fee for training is 10,000 rupees, while the fee for participating in the conference is 5,000 rupees, but the first 15 people will pay a fee of 4,000 rupees as an early bird offer. The fee for foreigners is 100 US dollars.
