Man arrested for stealing laptop from Nepal Transit and Warehouse Management Company’s warehouse
A person has been arrested for stealing a laptop from the cargo complex of Tribhuvan International Airport. The Metropolitan Crime Branch arrested Bishnu Adhikari, 29, of Sindhupalchowk in Kathmandu on Wednesday on charges of stealing a laptop from the complex.
Out of 507 laptops imported in the cargo complex operated by Nepal Transit and Warehouse Management Company Limited and Tribhuvan International Airport Branch Office, 7 laptops were stolen during the night of June 7 and 6 laptops were stolen on the night of July 15.
After receiving a request from the Nepal Transit and Warehouse Management Company, the officers involved in the theft were arrested while coordinating with the Metropolitan Airport Security Office. Police have recovered eight Dell laptops and two chargers from the officer.
