Many businesses using Go Anywhere file transfer software have been attacked by ransomware. Many businesses worldwide have been affected by ransomware attacks after a bug in the Go Anywhere file transfer software.
This attack was carried out by a club gang related to Russia and it was found that the information of the attacked organizations was leaking on the dark web.
Hackers are still threatening to publish the stolen files if the demanded amount is not paid. This file also contains personal files of employees and users.
The attack took place in January or February, and the hacker group revealed that it attacked 130 companies with ransomware. Security reporter Brian Krebs came to know about this incident only after reporting on it. Many organizations that have been attacked are claiming that their data was not stolen.
