Mega Bank to provide soft loan to small electric transport entrepreneurs
Mega Bank Nepal Limited is going to provide concessional loans to small electric transport entrepreneurs. For this, the bank has entered into an agreement with NECO Energy Solutions Company Private Limited.
The agreement was signed by Rabina Deshraj Shrestha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Mega Bank and Milan Kumar Poudel, Managing Director of NECO Energy Solutions at the bank’s corporate office in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
As per this agreement, Mega Bank will provide concessional loans to the small electric transport entrepreneurs affiliated with NECO Energy Solutions for self-employment and business operation subject to the concessional interest subsidy loan guideline of Nepal Rastra Bank and concessional interest subsidy loan procedure of the bank. NECO Energy Solutions has agreed to recommend Mega Bank for the loan.
On the occasion, Shrestha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, urged the small electric transport entrepreneurs to contact the branch offices of their choice as concessional loans would be provided from the branches of Mega Bank across the country.
He said that Mega Bank has been providing banking services to the poor with priority under the slogan ‘From Halo to Hydro’ since its inception.
Similarly, Poudel, Managing Director of NECO Energy Solutions, said that they have cooperated as Mega Bank has been providing micro and small loans and concessional interest subsidy loans to women and poor communities with priority.
