Meizu is back on the smartphone scene with the new Meizu 20 series, the company’s flagship model for 2023. The series comprises three models: Meizu 20, Meizu 20 Pro, and Meizu 20 Infinity. So let’s get into the specs, features, and expected price of the Meizu 20 Series in Nepal here.
Meizu 20 Series Overview:
It’s been quite a while since Meizu launched a flagship smartphone. The company’s last entry in this space was Meizu 18s Pro which debuted with Snapdragon 888+ SoC in Sept 2021. Now, after more than a year of break, the company has launched the Meizu 20 series.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
It’s a lineup of flagship phones, thus bringing Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip inside. The chip is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage for the vanilla and Pro variants. While the Infinity model gets up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
Meizu has also used vapor chamber cooling on all three devices for heat dissipation. As for the software, the phones boot on Meizu’s Flyme 10 OS which brings a new interface design, called “Alive Design.”
Design
Moving on, the entire lineup boasts a flat-frame metallic housing design for sturdiness. The rear panel has a vertically aligned camera layout, similar to the ones on Galaxy S23. On the front side, there is a hole punch panel on the Meizu 20 series but the Infinity model as the name implies, bears slimmer 2.48mm borders on all four sides.
Likewise, the Pro and vanilla sibling house a ring light LED flash. And the color options for the vanilla Meizu 20 are Dingshengqing, Pioneer Grey, Joyful Yellow, and Love Powder. On the other hand, the Pro sibling gets the Dawn Grey, Dawn Silver, and Sunrise Gold shades while the Infinity variant goes with Dawn Grey, Dawn Green, and Dawn Silver colors.
Display
As previously confirmed, the Meizu 20 series sport a 10-bit Samsung E6 AMOLED panel. The vanilla Meizu 20 model has a Full HD+ 6.55-inch screen as compared to 2K resolution 6.79 and 6.81-inch panels on the Meizu 20 Infinity and Meizu 20 Pro respectively. Interestingly the Meizu 20 supports a 144Hz refresh rate while the Inifinity and Pro siblings settle with a 120Hz refresh rate instead.
Meizu 20 Infinity
Meanwhile, only the Infinity and Pro feature the LTPO technology, making the refresh rate variable from 1Hz to 120Hz while the vanilla model misses out on this. Similarly, the peak brightness is 1800 nits for the formers and 800 nits for the latter ones. And you get Corning Gorillas Glass Victus protection on all three phones.
Camera
The Meizu 20 series sports a triple-camera setup across the board. The vanilla model equips a 50MP main, 16MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro snapper. Meanwhile, the Pro sibling goes with 50MP resolution for all primary, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras.
And the Infinity variant consists of a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 12MP telephoto shooters. Likewise, OIS stabilization is present on the main cameras of all three models. Upfront, you get a 32MP selfie snapper on the Meizu 20 series.

Battery and Others
The Meizu 20 Pro gets its juice from a 5000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. While the Infinity and vanilla models rely on a 4800mAh (65W) and 4700mAh (67W) battery respectively. Nevertheless, the Pro and Infinity siblings also support 50W wireless charging.
Other connectivity features include 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. You also get a dual stereo speaker and an under-display fingerprint reader on all three smartphones.
