Meta brought the Threads app to compete with Twitter, how to use it?

Facebook’s parent company Meta has released Threads mobile app to compete with Twitter. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg launched the Threads app on Thursday.

The Threads app was created by the Instagram team to share text. That’s why you will need Instagram to use the Threads app.

According to the company, text up to 500 characters with photos, videos and links can be posted from threads. The video can be posted up to 5 minutes long. According to Meta, posts made in threads can be shared on your Instagram story and can also be shared on other platforms with links.

Within 2 hours of its launch, two million people signed up for the Threads app. It is also possible to flow to friends on Instagram.

Meta has announced that it will soon develop Threads as an open, interoperable social network. Meta said that Threads is committed to giving users more control.

Threads is said to be Meta’s first open social networking portal in the future internet concept. The Threads app is available in more than 100 countries.

Android and iOS users can download and use it from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Meta has informed that it will soon bring new features to the app.
