Any member bank’s installment can be paid free of cost from Isewa, the first and leading payment service provider in Nepal. This facility will be implemented from Tuesday, June 7 to mid-July.

During this period, no fee will be charged for paying installments or sending money to any member bank or financial institution.

Chief Executive Officer of ISEWA, Subhas Sapkota, said that the facility was provided to promote digital business and to facilitate easy repayment of loans during the Covid epidemic.

He said, ‘Isewa is always working in the interest of the users. There is now an epidemic of covid epidemic. As it is mid-July now, the bank may have to pay the installment. On the other hand, digital business needs to be encouraged. In this case, we have provided the facility to pay free installments for the purpose of making a small profit.

The number of direct account openings is currently around 4.5 million in Isewa, which provides payment services through mobile and internet.

Similarly, about 16 million people are indirectly receiving services through ISEWA. At present, Isewa has more than 110,000 agents (Isewa zones and points) across the country. Currently, the number of merchants in Isewa has exceeded three lakh.

You can pay insurance premiums, share transactions, mobile, telephone, internet, electricity and drinking water charges, recharge, airplane, bus ticket, school and college fees from iSeva.

ISEWA currently has 50 members in banks and financial institutions. You can easily deposit money in Isewa from these banks and send money to bank account from Isewa.
