More than 3 lakh merchants are connected to Nepal Pay QR, further supporting the promotion of digital ecosystem.

More than 3 lakh merchants have joined Nepal Pay QR. In a short period of time, more than 3 lakh merchants have joined Nepal Pay QR through banks, financial institutions and payment service providers.

It is believed that this will further help in the acceptance of QR payments and the promotion of the digital ecosystem.

Nepal Pay QR has been put into operation under the National Payment Switch to maintain QR interdependence as per Nepal-QR standard.

It is said that Nepal Pay QR, which is also available as a QR scheme, has a provision to maintain interconnection at the merchant or network level.

Business customers from 23 bank financial institutions and 3 payment service providers can join Nepal Pay QR.

Apart from this, wallet users of 21 bank financial institutions and 6 payment service providers can pay for goods and services by scanning Nepal Pay QR.
