Most mobile banking users in the village
A statistic has shown that the village municipality has the highest number of mobile banking users. The study report on financial access to Nepal made public by Nepal Rastra Bank states that there are many mobile banking users in the villages.
According to the report, 33.36 percent of mobile banking users per account. Similarly, the number of ATM users in the village municipality is 10.61 percent and the number of internet banking users is 1.08 percent.
Province 2 has the lowest number of mobile banking users while Bagmati has the highest number.
In terms of age, the use of technology is higher in people above 20 years of age and the use of technology above that age is gradually declining.
As the use of technology is high among the younger generation, the use of technology will increase in the coming days, said NRB.
