Private sector mobile service provider Ncell Axiata Limited has introduced a ‘First SIM’ scheme for the students who have appeared for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) of 2078 BS.
Under this scheme, SEE students can avail of various benefits including the purchase of prepaid SIM for one rupee as well as bonus balance on recharge, free MyFive service, and bonus data, Ncell said.
The scheme has come into operation from Tuesday. All the students who have passed the SEE 2078 exam can get the first SIM from the nearest Ncell center.
Under this scheme, the student who gets the first SIM will get a main balance of Rs. 20 on the first recharge of one hundred or more within seven days of activating the SIM and 150 MB of data every day for 30 days.
Similarly, for every recharge of Rs 50 or more, you can avail of various bonus facilities for 6 months.
On such recharge, students get 500 MB of data valid for three days, 50 minutes talk time to call other Ncell numbers, and 50 SMS bonuses to be sent to other Ncell numbers.
Students will need a copy of their passport size photo, a photocopy of their class 10 mark sheet, their citizenship, or a photocopy of their parent’s citizenship to get this SIM.
In addition to attractive bonuses on voice, data, and SMS, the plan also includes a free My Five service, the company said. The company says that students can easily set up a maximum of five Ncell numbers in the MyFive group to keep in touch.
According to the company, after placing the numbers in the My Five group, students can talk on three mobile numbers for only 50 paisa per minute for the first 30 days. The company has stated that this service will be continued after 30 days on a recharge of Rs 100 or more.
According to the company, students will be able to dial * 17164 # and put the five Ncell numbers they need to keep in touch within the My Five group.
