Nepal Telecom’s server hacked

Nepal Telecom’s server has been hacked. Telecom has shut down the server after receiving information that the server has been hacked.

Nepal Telecom spokesperson Rajesh Joshi said that they found out that the server of the telecom had been hacked only this afternoon.

“After hearing about the hack, we have taken a shutdown based on suspicion,” Joshi told ICT News.

He said that it should be investigated whether the data was stolen from the hack or not. Joshi said that the investigation process has started. He said that no such effect has been seen so far.
