Nothing entered the smartphone arena last year with Nothing phone (1). Everyone, including us, was entertained by the Glyph interface’s novel concept. Now, the company is working on its successor, which so far from the rumors, looks like a flagship offering. Let’s learn about the key specs and rumors of the Nothing phone (2) in this article.

Nothing phone (2) Rumors:

A blogging platform, MySmartPricehas revealed some important specs of the smartphone.  While the phone (1) was powered by a mid-tier Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, the phone (2) is expected to go all-in flagship with the unannounced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 SoC.  Nothing’s founder and CEO, Carl Pei, also hinted that the smartphone would launch as a “more premium” alternative to the phone (1).

Furthermore, the smartphone will have the same 120Hz AMOLED display as its predecessor, but the refresh rate will be adaptive as it is expected to include an LTPO display. It will be powered by a 5000mAh cell, but the charging speed is currently unknown. The memory options are expected to include up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will also support Virtual RAM expansion.

However, there is little to no information available about the design of the upcoming phone (2). The phone (1) was a breath of fresh air with its Glyph interface. Thus, we expect phone (2) to go along the same line.

Nothing phone (2) Launch and Availability

According to Carl Pei, the Nothing phone (2) could hit the market sometime in Q3, 2023. Unlike its predecessor, it will be released in the United States as well. We will update the article as more information becomes available.
