Now one WhatsApp account can be used on multiple devices at the same time
Now the feature of running WhatsApp account on another phone i.e. secondary phone is going to start soon. Many times users want to be able to use the main WhatsApp account on any other phone as many people have two phones and want to use the same WhatsApp account on both.
This problem of users is going to end soon. In the future, the company is going to provide the facility for all users to run a single WhatsApp account on multiple OTA devices.
WhatsApp users have long been requesting the company to allow them to run a single account on multiple devices. Keeping this in mind, now the messaging app is set to roll out this feature soon, after which you can run your same account on multiple devices.
The company has released its information through a blog post. Users will soon be able to access their messages, photos, videos on other devices without compromising security.
You can use your same account on four different smartphones. Primary account will be used for authentication only. According to the company, just as you have to scan a QR code to use the web version of WhatsApp, you can also open an account on other smartphones. For this, the company is also preparing an authentication system based on OTP.
The company said that if the primary phone is inactive for some time, the WhatsApp account will be automatically signed out from other devices.
