Now the insurance agent will be managed online
Nepal Insurance Authority has started managing insurance agents through online system. The authority has launched an online system for the implementation of the ‘one insurer one insurance’ agent provision in the Insurance Act.
Inaugurating the online system on Sunday, President of Nepal Insurance Authority Surya Prasad Silwal said that it would be easy to monitor the information of insurance agents online.
The authority has continued the arrangement of renewing the license of insurance intermediaries (insurance agents and surveyors) by paying the settlement fees from various online payment service providers along with the management of ‘one insurer one insurance’ agent through the online system.
