NP Nag organizing a 5-day workshop in Kathmandu

Nepal Network Operators Group (NPNG) is going to organize a five-day workshop. The workshop will be conducted at Hotel Royal Singhi and Hotel Loft in Kathmandu from 3rd to 8th June.

A five-day workshop and a one-day conference will be organized under this program called npNOG-8. The organizer said that in the workshop, training will be conducted in two thematic areas by business experts involved in the field of networking and information and communication technology.

Internet Exchange Nepal (NPIX) and Nepal Network Operators Group (NPNG) will conduct the workshop jointly, which includes topics such as network security, optical fiber network and infrastructure and BGP and IPVC deployment.

A conference will be held on the last day of the program and IT experts will present their papers in the program. More than 150 people working in the field of information and communication technology are expected to participate in the training program.

According to the Managing Director of NPIX, Rupesh Bhakta Shrestha, this program will help in the mutual knowledge sharing of the community engaged in the field of information and communication technology. “In the workshop, business experts will provide training as a volunteer,” Shrestha said while informing about the program.

Samit Jan, president of NP Nag, said that they hold two programs a year. “We have organized one in Kathmandu and another outside Kathmandu,” he said.

People promised that the role of NP Nag will always be high in preparing competent professional professional manpower for the country.

Similarly, only 17,000 rupees (150 US dollars for foreigners) and 5,000 rupees (50 US dollars for foreigners) for the conference will have to be paid.
