NT TV service has started in these places of Lumbini province
Nepal Telecom’s Provincial Directorate Bhairahawa has launched IP TV service through FTTH (Fiber Du The Home) from July 20.
In the first phase, this service of NT TV brand has been distributed in Bhairahawa, Butwal, Tansen, Tamghas, Sandhikharka, Parasi and Toulihawa of Lumbini province.
Javindra Upadhyaya, director of the provincial directorate of Nepal Telecom, Bhairahawa, said that preparations are being made to expand the service to all areas under the directorate in the coming days.
The concept of Pamani Triple Play will be implemented in Lumbini after the telco has been providing voice service and data service from FTTH service till now as well as NT TV service.
Currently, all the national and regional television channels of the country are available on the distributed NT TV service.
In addition, almost all foreign television channels available and watched in Nepal will be available to customers. The company is currently providing NT TV service in two packages, Vesic and Premium. There are 102 television channels in Vesic and 185 in premium television channels.
Nepal Telecom had started distribution of NT TV for the first time on December 3. Currently, this service is available in Banepa and Chitwan besides Kathmandu Valley.
