On the occasion of its 37th anniversary, Nabil Bank handed over an oxygen plant to Bir Hospital

Nabil Bank Limited has handed over the state-of-the-art Oxygen Plant Hospital for the National Academy of Medical Sciences (Veer Hospital).

The bank handed over the plant on the occasion of its 37th anniversary on Monday.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the bank and the hospital on May 19 for the establishment of the plant. As per the agreement, Nabil Bank has provided all the expenses for setting up the oxygen plant with a capacity of 50 cubic liters / hour and the hospital has provided the necessary space.

With the end of the second wave of Covid 19 and now the third wave spreading to other parts of the world, Nabil’s Oxygen Plant is believed to help by responding to the third stage of risk and supplying oxygen that will save the lives of patients.

The bank has been assisting the government since the beginning of the Covid 19 epidemic under its corporate social responsibility. Last year, the Bank of Nepal provided Rs. 60 million in cash.

Similarly, Nabil Bank has been working for disaster preparedness and capacity building in partnership with government agencies and various organizations working in the humanitarian sector.

Under this, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population, a one-day orientation on health emergency preparedness for health workers was conducted in all the seven states last year.

The orientation was attended by 330 health workers from various government, non-government and humanitarian organizations.

In the coming days, Nabil has said that he will invest in improving the health system of the country under the corporate social responsibility.

The bank has stated that it has provided such assistance in response to COVID 19 and will continue to provide such assistance in the days to come under its corporate social responsibility.
