OnePlus and Oppo officially merged

OnePlus and Oppo have now officially merged. The two companies have been working together for some time, but now they are one. Both these brands belong to BBK Electronics. This will help in accumulating more resources.

OnePlus co-founders Pete Lau and Carl Pei have previously worked together at Oppo. Lau, chief executive officer of OnePlus, has been the chief production officer since May 2020. OnePlus and Oppo have been working together since then, and the partnership has now become official.

The company will be officially integrated as it has facilitated positive changes and quick updates by working together. OnePlus is said to be self-reliant even if it is under Oppo. The company has also stated that OnePlus will continue to have its own products and programs.
