[ad_1]
Oppo has finally launched the Find X6 series after multiple leaks and rumors. The lineup includes two models, a vanilla and a Pro model, which arrive with flagship chipsets from Mediatek and Qualcomm, respectively. Let’s get into the specs, features, and price of Oppo Find X6 and X6 pro in this article.
Oppo Find X6 Series Overview:
New Design
Oppo has been continually exploring new elements for its phone’s design. Last year’s Find X5 Pro featured a slight variation of the Gradient Arc designwhich has been a staple of Oppo’s flagships since 2021. But looks like Oppo has changed things with the Find X6 series.
As the renders suggested, the back of the Oppo flagships now arrives with a big circular module that houses a triple camera setup. The Find X6 Pro is 9.1mm while it weighs 218 grams for the glass variant. While the vanilla X6 is thinner at 8.96mm and weighs 207 grams. The Pro model bags an IP68 rating while the vanilla model goes for an IP64 rating.
Likewise, the Pro model is also available in the Desert Moon variant that features a premium leather back, measuring 9.5mm. Other color options are Green and Cloud Black. On the other hand, the X6 Pro is available in Green, Staryy Black, and Snow Mountain Gold. Besides that, both siblings are very identical in terms of design.
Display
The X6 Pro has a 6.8-inch E6 AMOLED display with a 2K resolution (3168 x 1440 pixels). The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate with LTPO 3 technology and 10-bit colors. Meanwhile, the vanilla X6 comes with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2772 × 1240 pixels) and 120Hz refresh rate.
An interesting fact to note, the X6 Pro’s display has 2500nits peak brightness the highest one to date. The vanilla X6 settles for a 1450nits instead. And the Pro’s screen also supports Dolby Vision support alongside HDR 10+ while the X6 only supports the latter.
Camera
After Xiaomi and Vivo, Oppo has featured a 1-inch sensor with the X6 Pro which is a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor. The company has used two IMX890 sensors, one for ultrawide shots while the other helps in zoom with its 3x optical zoom and 6x hybrid zoom. The phone also features a Time-of-Flight sensor for autofocus and depth information.
On the other hand, the Find X6 sports a triple 50MP setup with OIS on the primary and periscope units as the Pro sibling. The main camera is a 1/1.5-inch sensor here. While the telephoto and ultrawide cameras are the same except for the 112° FOV as compared to the 110° FOV on the Pro model.
Hasselblad and MariSilicon X2
In addition to the new camera sensor, the Oppo Find X6 series also benefits from Hasselblad’s color calibration and the MariSilicon X2 NPU. The Find X6 series is the second product out of Oppo and Hasselblad’s 3-year partnership.
The MariSilicon X2 is a successor to last year’s MariSilicon X, which is Oppo’s in-house chip based on a 6nm process that offloads the image processing workload from the main SoC.
Performance
The vanilla X6 packs a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 while the Pro variant goes for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 instead. The Immortalis-G715 MC11 handles the graphics for the Meditake SoC while Adreno 740 takes the charge on the Snapdragon chipset.
To compare, the Qualcomm counterpart offers slightly better performance. Both siblings make use of a vapor chamber cooling mechanism to keep the thermals in check.
As for the software, the Find X6 duo boot on ColorOS 13.1 built on top of Android 13. Likewise, users can choose between 12GB and 16GB RAM variants with storage options of 256GB and 512GB. Both models have LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
Rest of the specs
Fueling the Pro variant is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. And the X6 packs a 4800mAh battery under the hood with 80W wired charging and no wireless charging support.
Other attributes of the devices are an X-Axis linear motor, an ultra-thin fingerprint scanner, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC support and more.
