Preparing to arrange electronic attendance in Parliament
An electronic presence will be kept in the Parliament. In the work arrangement consultation committee meeting held on Sunday, there was a discussion about keeping e-attendance.
Chief Whip of CPN Maoist Center Heetaraj Pandey said that there was also a discussion about the arrangement that the attendance of MPs should be through electronic means.
Talking to the media persons after the meeting, Nepali Congress MP Ramhari Khatiwada said that the issue of electronic attendance was also discussed as there is a tendency to walk around the house after attending the meeting.
He further said, ‘Members of Parliament have a tendency to show up and walk. There has been talk about the system of e-attendance to prevent this.’
