Rastriya Banijya Bank has introduced credit card, credit limit up to Rs 500,000

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited has started credit card service on Tuesday. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Ram Sharan Pudasaini inaugurated the service by handing over a credit card to the bank’s customer and Chairman of Asian Life Insurance Company Deepak Kumar Shrestha.

Speaking on the occasion, Ram Sharan Pudasaini, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank, said that new banking products should be researched as per the desires of the customers.

Kiran Kumar Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, said that the bank is moving towards full digital banking after the launch of Credit Card.

Chairman of Asian Life Insurance Company Deepak Kumar Shrestha said that he was happy to be the first credit card customer of RWB and wished for the expansion of the bank’s business.

At the ceremony, Deputy Executive Officer Devesh Prasad Lohani said that the credit card issued at a cheaper interest rate in the competitive market can be given a credit limit of Rs 20,000 to Rs 500,000 depending on the income source and payment capacity of the customer.

According to Rishi Ram Dhakal, head of the digital banking department, credit card customers have the facility to make daily payments and online shopping within the prescribed limits.
