Realme GT 3 Rumors: Specifications, Availability, Launch

Realme GT Neo 3 rumors

Realme just unveiled the world’s fastest-charging smartphone, with ridiculous 240W charging support. It was released in China as the GT Neo 5. But looks like, Realme has other plans for this smartphone in the global market. As teased by the company, it might debut as the Realme GT 3 instead, succeeding the GT 2 from last year. So let’s get into the Realme GT 3’s specifications, features, availability, and expected price.

Realme GT 3 Rumors:

240W Charging

For the time being, Realme has confirmed that the GT 3 will launch with 240W charging. That means, it will share all of the advancements in charging technology that the brand has made for the GT Neo 5—from a custom 12A charging cable to a 240W dual GaN mini charger. Realme will most likely pair it with a  4,600mAh battery capacity. And as the Neo 5, we expect the GT 3 will also have another 150W variant with a bigger 5000mAh battery.

Others

Aside from that, there are no concurrent details about the Realme GT 3’s specifications. Given it will be a rebranded GT Neo 5, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Similarly, the smartphone will ship with Realme UI 4.0, which is built on top of Android 13.

This Realme’s custom skin introduces new icons, card layouts, and AOD (Always on Display) styles as visual changes. The brand has also implemented Dynamic Computing Engine for improved performance and balance.

Furthermore, the GT Neo 5 features a 6.7-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. And we expect the same for the GT 3. The display has a 2K resolution, a 7-stage adaptive refresh rate support, and is HDR10+ certified too.

Realme GT 3 Launch and Availability

The smartphone is confirmed to make its global debut this month. Although the official launch date isn’t announced, rumors suggest that it will launch on  February 27 at the MWC 2023 event. As the GT 2 series were also unveiled at MWC 2022, Realme is likely to follow the same this year too. We’ll keep updating the article with new details in the coming days.
