Realme GT Neo 6 surfaces online in official-looking renders

After launching Realme GT Neo 5 not too long ago, it looks like Chinese smartphone maker Realme is already gearing up for GT Neo 6. And it looks like the phone will have a major downgrade compared to the GT Neo 5. So let’s take a closer look at everything we have regarding the upcoming Realme smartphone’s design, specifications, and potential launch date.

Realme GT Neo 6 Rumors:

Design and Display

Courtesy of a recent leak by OnLeaks and MySmartPrice, we now have detailed renders of the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6. Though it borrows a lot of its style from the GT Neo 5, there is one significant change. And that is regarding the camera island. The GT Neo 6 has a Pixel phone-like design with a visor extending the whole width of the phone. The camera orientation seems untouched, but the left half sees a refresh with a new design.

And as per the rumors, this phone might feature a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is rumored to have a 1.5K resolution with 2160Hz PWM dimming support as well.

Chipset and Battery

And according to a reliable leakster Digital Chat Station, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. With up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Although we don’t have the exact rated capacity, the leaks mention a “bigger battery” with support for up to 100W fast charging. So it seems like Realme will be dropping its jaw-dropping 240W charging speed in this generation, which is pretty surprising.

Extras

For the rest of the phone, we’ll have to make do with guesses. Realme GT Neo 6’s primary camera will likely be a 50MP shooter with OIS support. Whereas on the software front, it should boot on Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 on top.

Realme GT Neo 6 Price and Availability

As per the latest rumors, Realme GT Neo 6 is rumored to launch in Q3 of 2023. We expect more leaks and rumors as that marches closer. Oh, and this phone might also be rebranded as “Realme GT 3 Pro” in the international markets. We don’t have any leaks regarding its price but we’ll keep updating this article as more information surfaces.
