Redmi 12 Rumors: Specifications, Price, Launch
Seems like, Redmi is not yet done with its ’12’ series of smartphones. The Xiaomi subsidiary company recently launched the Redmi 12C. And now, the news is coming in about a new device, the Redmi 12 which has appeared on a couple of certifications sites so far. Let’s know what the rumors have to say about the Redmi 12 in this article.
Redmi 12 Rumors:
While the company is yet to confirm its existence, a Redmi smartphone has appeared in the IMEI database with model number 23053RN02L. The official moniker is not confirmed as of now, but this device is most likely to go with the Redmi 12 naming. Likewise, another version of the same smartphone is listed on FCC’s site as 23053RN02Y.
The listing has confirmed a 33W fast charging support and 4G network connectivity for the device. Its battery capacity is not revealed but we can expect it to be a 5000mAh cell, following the standard norm.
On the software side, the listing points to MIUI 14 booting on the Redmi 12, but the Android version is unknown as of now. Unlike the 12C which comes pre-installed with Android 12, we hope the brand ships the phone with Android 13 this time around.
Besides that, there is not much info as of now. As a budget smartphone, the phone will likely go with the plastic build and waterdrop notch.
