Following the release of the Redmi Pad, Xiaomi has now introduced the new Redmi Writing Pad in India. While not an actual Android tablet, this device is a paper substitute for simple note-taking and casual drawing. This article will go through the specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Redmi Writing Pad in Nepal.
Redmi Writing Pad Overview:
The Redmi Pad features a simple slate-like design and weighs only 90 grams. This inexpensive tablet has an 8.5″ LCD screen designed to replace the experience of writing on paper. The screen emits no light and writing appears as green markings on the black screen.
There is a single orange accented button on the front for single one-tap screen clearing. Moreover, Xiaomi has incorporated a lock switch on the writing pad’s sides to freeze the content and avoid accidental deletion.
The bundled stylus on the Redmi Writing Pad weighs 5 grams and attaches to the tablet magnetically. It is a pressure-sensitive stylus that allows the user to create different stroke sizes and shapes.
It is an eco-friendly device that helps reduce the wastage of paper. The lightweight nature of the stylus and the tablet make usage easier for both children and adults.
The Redmi Writing Pad does not come with an in-built battery nor does it have a charging port. Instead, it uses a replaceable CR2016 button cell. According to Xiaomi, a single cell should write up to 20,000 pages.
