Removal of unorganized wires started in Kathmandu

The work of removing unorganized wires has started in Kathmandu. Nepal Telecommunication Authority and Internet service provider companies have started to organize the wires and remove the untidy wires.

In a discussion held on Sunday between Nepal Telecommunication Authority, representatives of internet service provider companies and Kathmandu Metropolitan City, it was agreed to organize the untidy wires in the metropolitan area from Monday. According to the same agreement, from 8 am on Monday morning, the work of removing tangled, tangled and hanging wires on roadside poles in Maitighar Mandla and New Road area and hanging them in an orderly manner has been started, according to Kathmandu Metropolis.

After unorganized wires reduce the beauty of the city and increase the risk of accidents, earlier, the Metropolitan Municipality had given a 15-day deadline to the authorities and internet service providers to remove the unorganized wires within 27 Baisakh.

The Telecommunication Authority has also published the route plan for the work of arranging the wires. Maitighar to Airport, Tripureshwar to Maharajgunj, Newroad-Basantpur via Asan, Maitighar-Putlisadak to Narayanhiti, Bhadrakali-Narayanhiti-Kamaladi to Ranipokhari have been determined.

Similarly, International Convention Center Nayabaneshwar via Dillibazar-Anamnagar, Shitalnivas via Nakhakal-Baluwatar, Kalanki via Maitighar-Tripureshwar, Samakhusi via Lainchour-Askal-Ranibari, Sohrakhute-Dhalko-Tahchal via Swayambhu, Sinamangal-Puranobaneshwar via Gaushala, Gaushala-Boudhanath and Kalimati- According to the authority, the route plan of Balkhu via Kuleshwar has been prepared.

The Telecommunication Authority has instructed all the service providers to be present in the work of arranging wires on these routes.
