After the launch of Samsung M02 in Nepal, Samsung is set to launch Samsung Galaxy A12 in Nepal. A12 is expected to launch on March 8th.
A12 is the successor to the Galaxy A11 that was launched a year ago. So, let’s see what A12 has to offer.

Samsung Galaxy A12 has a similar design to the Samsung M12. There’s a square-shaped camera module on the plastic rear which wraps around the phone as it has a unibody design.

Samsung Galaxy A12 is using a PLS panel that measures 6.5 inches in diagonal. The screen resolution is 1600×720 and pixel density is 270ppi.

Surrounding the display are reasonably-sized bezels. The chin, in particular, looks a bit chunky.
Underneath, the Galaxy A12 is powered by a Mediatek Helio P35 chipset. It has an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked up to 2.35GHz and the remaining cores clocked up to 1.8GHz.

The PowerVR GE8320 GPU used in the Helio P35 can be found in other Helio chipsets like G25 and G35.
In terms of RAM/Storage configurations, it starts at 3GB/32GB trim, all the way up to 6GB/128GB trim.
Galaxy A12 has four rear cameras on the back. The primary camera is a Samsung GM2 48MP sensor found on the likes of Samsung M21.

Then there’s a 5MP ultra wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.
For selfies, there’s an 8MP camera in the notch of the display.
The Galaxy A12 rocks a 5000mAh battery which is more than enough for a budget phone.
It supports 15W QuickCharge 2.0 fast charging. Furthermore, it runs on One UI 2.5 on top of Android 10.

Samsung Galaxy A12 is expected to launch on March 8th in Nepal. As for its price, the Samsung Galaxy A12 price in Nepal could be around Rs. 20,000 for the 4/64GB variant.
Samsung Galaxy A12 is a successor to the Galaxy A11 with upgraded cameras and a new chipset. While the Helio P35 is not the most powerful chipset for a budget phone, it is rocking a strong camera setup.
All around, the Galaxy A12 is looking like a good upgrade but a better processor would have made it more appealing.
