The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is Samsung’s latest True Wireless Stereo (TWS). It is the Pro version of the Galaxy Buds 2 that was launched in Nepal last year.

Design
Although the design of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro looks similar to the original Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, the Buds 2 Pro is 15% smaller than the Buds Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Design
Samsung says it redesigned the earbuds and has improved its air vent and wind shield, allowing air to move more effectively through the earbuds while maintaining clarity in sound — for comfortability.
The Buds 2 Pro comes in three colour options: Bora Purple, White, and Graphite. The bud weighs 5.5g, while the charging case has a weight of 43.4g. For protection against water, it is IPX7 rated.

Audio Features
The earbuds have a coaxial two-way speaker with a woofer and tweeter. It now supports Hi-Fi 24-bit audio over Bluetooth with Samsung’s proprietary seamless codec. For that, you need to have a Samsung device and supported application.
The Buds 2 Pro has an improved Intelligent 360 Audio that processes sound signals with directional filters. It makes users feel they are listening through multi-channel (5.1, 7.1, Dolby Atmos) speakers.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro – 24-bit Hi-Fi Audio
Samsung says that the new active noise cancellation (ANC) is now more powerful, with 3 high SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) microphones. The earbuds are also able to detect when the users start talking with Voice Detectso they can turn off ANC and turn on the ambient mode.
Additionally, there is a personalised beamforming feature that allows other callers to clearly hear our voices even against noisy backgrounds.
And Samsung said that it will bring LE-Audio — which enables better audio quality, power efficiency, connecting multiple devices, and more — to the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro later this year.
Connectivity & Battery
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro supports Bluetooth 5.3. It supports Samsung Seamless Codec HiFi (Samsung Proprietary), AAC, and SBC codecs.
Using SmartThings Find, users can locate the earbuds if it is misplaced, even when the earbuds are not in the case. It also sends a notification to the phone when the user walks away from the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
Additionally. the Buds support the Auto Switch feature that can seamlessly shift its connection to the user’s Samsung Galaxy phone, tablet, and watch.
In terms of battery, the earbuds have a 61mAh battery and the charging case has a 515mAh battery.
According to Samsung, the earbuds can provide up to 5 hours of listening with ANC turned on and up to 18 hours when used with the charging case. With ANC off, the earbuds will last up to 8 hours, while the charging case will extend that to 29 hours.
The charging case supports Qi wireless charging.
