Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Rumors, Features, Expected Price

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Rumors

Samsung released its top-of-the-line phone for 2023 – the Galaxy S23 Ultra not too long ago. Barely three months have passed since its release, and the internet is already buzzing with rumors about its follow-up, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. So let’s go through the leaks and rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Rumors:

No Quad-Camera Setup

The upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra may feature a major change in its camera setup. A reliable tipster (@iceuniverse) claims that the new flagship will only have a triple rear camera system. This is a noteworthy change since Samsung has been using quad-rear cameras on their S series Ultra models since 2021, with two of them being telephoto units providing 3x and 10x optical zoom.

Now, starting with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung is rumored to omit the 3x telephoto lens in favor of a periscope telephoto lens. This camera is believed to have changeable optical zoom levels ranging from 3x to 10x, integrating the capabilities of both telephoto cameras in one. The resolution of this lens is unknown as of now.

In terms of other sensors, the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 200 MP camera is believed to be kept in the sequel. Similarly, reports indicate that the vanilla S24 and S24+ will keep the same camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy

Moving on to the chipset, there are two possibilities. Samsung could employ either its own Exynos 2400 (which is said to be in the works) or a custom-built Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Galaxy. Samsung might also follow its previous practice and release both Exynos and Snapdragon variants for separate markets. However, it is too early to make such a prediction.
