Build & Design

The Z Flip 3 has the same clamshell form factor that was used on the previous model. However, Samsung has trimmed down the bezels around the display and reworked the camera housing.

It also gets a refreshing two-tone color scheme with a black stripe running across the vertical dual camera setup. On the front, it gets an Infinity-O hole-punch camera instead of an Under display camera. Like the Galaxy Fold 3, it also has IPX8 water resistance.

For protection, it uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on both front and rear. But the cover screen uses Gorilla Glass DX. Furthermore, it comes in 4 colors: Cream, Phantom Black, Green, and Lavender.

Display

The main display of the Z Flip 3 is a 6.7 inches Dynamic AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2636 x 1080 pixels. It is also a 120Hz refresh rate display with adaptive refresh rate technology.

Hardware

Samsung Z Fold 3 rocks the Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 ROM.

Snapdragon 888 has an Octa-Core processor with 1 Cortex X1 core, 3 Cortex A78 cores, and 4 Cortex A55 cores. It is one of the first chipsets to employ the new Cortex X1 high-performance cores.

Other feature includes Dolby Atmos Dual stereo speaker, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2.

Camera

In terms of cameras, the Z Flip 3 is very similar to the Z Flip. On the rear, it has a 12MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide angle sensor.

Battery & Software

Z Flip 3 has a 3300mAh battery paired with 15W Fast Charging support. But, you don’t get a charger in the box. It uses a dual battery with a bigger 2370mAh pack situated on the bottom and a smaller 930mAh pack on the top.

Furthermore, it also has 10W Fast Wireless Charging and 4.5W Reverse Wireless Charging support.

For software, it runs on Android 11 and One UI 3.1.1.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 price in Nepal is expected to be below Rs. 1,50,000 in Nepal. It will be available for pre-order from the first week of September.

Samsung Z Flip 3 is an update of the Z Flip. It is even smaller than the previous flip at just 4.2 inches when folded. And the cover screen is significantly bigger and practical.

The Z Flip 3 is a good update of the original Z Flip with a bigger secondary display and compact design.
