Security agencies will be empowered by using state-of-the-art technology

The government has announced that it will empower the security agencies with state-of-the-art technology to control financial crime, meter bagging and cyber crime.


Presenting the government’s policy and program for the next financial year 2080-81 in the Joint House of the Federal Parliament, President Ramchandra Paudel said that the security agencies will be empowered by using modern technology to control all types of criminal activities including terrorism and organized crime, violence, drug dealing and trafficking.

It is mentioned in the policy and program to strengthen the Digital Forensic Lab to identify and control similar crimes.

It is mentioned in the policy and program of the government for the next financial year to make the control of cryptocurrency, hundi, organized crime, domestic and international crime effective and to conduct a community-led campaign against drug abuse.
