The biggest supply chain cyber attack ever carried out by hackers

Hackers have launched the largest supply chain cyber attack to date. According to reports in The Financial Times and Wall Street Journal, IT management software giant Kaseya has been attacked by software.

The hack has been found to affect VSA remote maintenance tools. The company initially claimed that less than 40 customers had been affected by the hack, but Huntress said it had affected about 200 people.

It has affected about eight cloud services, which is why it is estimated that many more firms have been affected by the hack. Kaseya said he had identified the security problem and was working to resolve it.

For a few days now, the company has been asking customers to shut down their VSA servers and keep them offline until the update is installed. It is alleged that the bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Russian police recruiting center.
