The five-year trial period, which starts in one year, will be available for free for one year

FiveG is scheduled to start in Nepal within a year. Chairman of the Telecommunication Authority of Nepal, Purushottam Khanal, said that the Telecommunication Authority of Nepal has a plan to start FiveG by 2022 and expand it across the country by 2025 BS.

Speaking at the Virtual Seventh Annual Asia-Pacific Spectrum Management Conference on Thursday, Khanal said work was underway to launch FiveG from 2022.

He also informed that the facility of running it for free for one year during the trial period of FiveG started in Nepal.

By 2028, NEA is working to make 70 percent of Nepalis run FiveG.
NEA is preparing to use 700 bandwidth for operating FiveG.
