The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Molakali Cable Car, which is the main investment of IME Group

Moulakali Cable Car promoted by Moulakali Cable Car Pvt. The cable car, which was completed in Gaidakot 1 of Nawalpur district, was tested from the 1st of Baisakh.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is scheduled to formally inaugurate the cable car on 18th Baisakh.

The construction of Moulakali Cable Car, which is the main investment of IME Group, was started last year. There are 12 gondolas on the 1.2 km long cable car from Gaidakot 1 to Moulakali temple. It takes about 5 minutes to reach top station from bottom station by only car.

With the operation of the cable car, it will be easy for the devotees who go for darshan and puja of Maulakali. At the upper station of the cable car, there will be a 60-room hotel, guest hall and restaurant in operation. Moulakali Cable Car Pvt Ltd said that even if the cable car is operational, it will take a few more months for the hotel to operate.

More than two billion rupees have been invested in the project, which will significantly contribute to the tourism infrastructure of Nawalpur and Chitwan districts.

The construction of a new tourist destination with a cable car, which is the main investment of IME Group, has been completed and is in operation at Chandragiri, Kathmandu. Similarly, another cable car project promoted by Lumbini Cable Car Pvt Ltd, which is the main investment of this group, is under construction from Butwal Bazar in Rupandehi District to Vasantpur in Palpa.

The company said that the cable car project will also be operational from the end of this month. With the investment of IME Group, major and model tourism infrastructures are under construction in all the seven provinces.
