There are many opportunities in Nepal’s ICT sector

Digital Nepal Framework has been developed and is being implemented. The epidemic of corona has also come at the same time on the way to implementation. ICT is one of the areas most affected by the Corona epidemic.

The development in this sector including ICT sector and e-commerce is benefiting a lot at this time. Not only in Nepal but all over the world has benefited.

E-commerce and ICT have made Amazon owner Jeff Bezos the richest man in the world. Epidemics in Koro have affected our daily lives. But instead of affecting the ICT sector, it is benefiting.

Nepal is lagging behind in the index of Digital Nepal. In my opinion, by accepting that, the Government of Nepal has brought Digital Nepal Framework. But it needs to be implemented.

This is not just a matter of a ministry. This is a matter of concern to all Nepalis and all public bodies. This is a very important initiative.

I think if this initiative is accepted by all, it can be very beneficial. Listening to the award-winning brothers and sisters today, what is the vision of Digital Nepal?

It is clear that this hypothesis has reached somewhere to take shape. Especially Neha Giri’s essay, Prabhas Subedi’s poem, brothers’ art are all so sweet to listen to.

Sometimes it feels frustrating to hear topics like Science ICT. But when you hear it here today, it is not hopeless, it is beautiful. You should be able to take that beauty, you should be able to use it. Congratulations to all the brothers and sisters who have been awarded.

Here’s a creativity show. Inspiring others to create the same environment. I think that’s a big deal. I believe that it will reach millions of students.

There are many opportunities in Nepal’s ICT sector. One is to understand that where there is no development, there is opportunity. There are many opportunities in Nepal now. We should be able to take that.

The development of ICT has been initiated by the private sector but the government has adopted it. I believe that implementing it will bring good benefits. I think the positive message going to the students also contributes something.
