Machhapuchhre Bank has said that it has drawn serious attention to the recent news in various media regarding the loss of money from the accounts of customers of Chandrapur branch located in Rautahat.

According to the bank, after receiving the customer’s complaint, during the investigation, it was found that the entire amount was transferred to various accounts and pocket wallets of other banks using the customer’s mobile banking.

There is no problem in the bank’s system and all the SMS, activation code and OTP sent by the bank. The bank has informed that the transaction cannot be carried out without informing the unauthorized person or without unauthorized access to the customer’s mobile phone, as it appears that the code has gone to the customer’s mobile phone.

“We would like to inform you that we have requested the police to conduct further investigation in this regard and take necessary action,” the press statement issued by the bank said, “we inform customers that the savings in their bank accounts are completely safe, and we advise them to take precautions when using mobile banking and other digital services.” We make a sincere request to our customers, dignitaries and the entire public.
