LG and HTC have started to provide two camera sensors in the phone. In February 2011, LG released the LG Optimus 3D P920 phone and HTC launched the HTC Evo 3D in March. At that time, the dual camera was introduced only for taking 3D photos and videos.

The first dual front camera phone

Lenovo brought a phone equipped with two selfie cameras for the first time in the world. Lenovo introduced the world’s first dual front camera phone Lenovo Vive S1 at the IFA event held in Berlin in 2015. This phone had two front cameras of 8 megapixels and 2 megapixels.
