Three arrested for looting mobile phones from Buddhists in Kathmandu

Police have arrested three people for stealing and looting mobile phones in a Buddhist area.

Among the arrested are Samir Tamang, 18, of Bara, Viras Magar, 22, and Bhim Rai, 19, of Khotang.

A special police team deployed by the Metropolitan Police Circle Boudha arrested three persons on Thursday, including 20 stolen mobile phones, while searching for the robbers.

Police said that further investigation is underway on the three arrested.
