Through Digital Province Dialogue 4.0 in all seven provinces, an effort to measure digital competence

Digital province dialogue will be held in all seven provinces. Digital province dialogue program is starting from Koshi province from 4th Baisakh under the initiative of ICT Foundation Nepal.

In the Digital Province Dialogue, there will be a wide-ranging discussion about the digital situation of the province between the provincial government, people’s representatives, stakeholders and representatives of government and non-government agencies.

In each province, there is a program of presentation of working papers by 2 subject experts, while the panel session will be conducted with the participation of the ministers and chief ministers of the provincial government.

Rajan Lamsal, President of ICT Foundation Nepal informed that important discussions will be held on the digital situation of the respective provinces, policies and action plans to be taken in the future.

This year, the dialogue program to be organized with the slogan ‘Fostering Digitally Competent Province’ will focus on how capable the province is of digital transformation.

Last year too, ICT Foundation Nepal organized Digital Province Dialogue in all seven provinces. This year too, Digital Koshi Samvad will be organized on 4th Baisakh in Biratnagar, the capital of Koshi province. Similarly, Digital Madhes Samvad will be held in Janakpur, the capital of Madhesh Province on 6th Baisakh and Digital Bagmati Samwad will be held in Hetauda, ​​the capital of Bagmati Province on 8th Baisakh.

After that, it is said that digital province dialogue will be held in Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces in the last week of Baisakh. This year, the organizer said that the state dialogue will be concluded in Pokhara, Gandaki province.

After digital dialogue is held in all seven provinces, a book based on research covering the digital situation of the entire province will be published, ‘Digital Province Scenario 2’.

The organizer has informed that ‘Digital Nepal Conclave 2023’ will be held in Kathmandu on the third week of June as a grand program. The conclave program started last year with the provinces.
