Tiktok is removing videos that give false information about climate change. Tiktok has made it illegal to post videos that spread false information in the community guidelines and this policy has been implemented since April 21.

In 2022, researchers at Newsguard discovered that TikTok had a lot of incorrect information about climate change, and TikTok was forced to come up with this policy.
