Traffic police started giving copies with QR code

Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has started giving copy recommendation with QR code from Thursday.

On the basis of the received application that the documents of the vehicle have been lost, the traffic police has started recommending a copy of the document after confirming whether or not the documents are present in the traffic police office.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rajendra Prasad Bhatt, spokesperson of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, said that if there is any doubt about the recommendation letter, it can be scanned using any QR code reader and checked whether it is genuine or fake recommendation.

He said, ‘We have recommended a copy with a QR code reader so that the recommendation is not fake.’
