Tribhuvan University connected to the global research and educational network and Ideurom
The central campus of Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, is connected to the global research and educational network and the global network of Idiurom.
The integration into the global research and educational network is expected to further strengthen the research activities conducted by the various faculties on the central campus.
The Research and Educational Network (Trans Eurasia Information Network) was established in Nepal in 2010 with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
So far, 25 organizations including Nepal Academy of Science and Technology, Kathmandu University and Tribhuvan University have joined the network.
EduRoom is a global service that provides easy network access to research and educational organizations to individuals from other organizations around the world.
For example, when the students and professors of Tribhuvan University reach another university connected to the Idiurom service in Nepal or abroad, they automatically get access to the services including internet.
The password used in your organization can be connected to the Internet and other services. Launched in Europe in 2002, the Ideroum service aims to strengthen research and educational activities by providing easy access to services, including the Internet, between organizations and individuals working in the field of research and education. Eduroom service is now available in more than 100 countries.
The Nepal Research and Education Network has been leading the work of creating an environment of mutual research and collaboration among the organizations related to education and research in Nepal, integrating them into the global research and educational network and connecting them to the Ideoroom service.
