Vivo S10 and S10 Pro Overview

Design and Display

The Vivo S10 and S10 Pro are similar in a lot of aspects, including the design and display. Both come with a 6.44-inch flat Super AMOLED panel with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. The Vivo S10 series has a bathtub-like notch that is quite rare in Android phones these days. There is an optical fingerprint scanner underneath the screen.

Vivo S10 Pro Display and Design

The thickness and weight of the phones vary according to the color variant. The gradient version is the heaviest and the thickest at 175 grams and 7.43mm, respectively. Vivo has used a photochromic material for the back. Thus, the phones will change depending upon the light falling on them.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the two phones pack the Dimensity 1100 chipset. It’s a high-end chipset based on TSMC’s 6nm process. Here, you get four Cortex A78 and four Cortex A55 cores. It also has the Helio M70 modem for sub-GHz 5G bands.

There are two memory configurations to choose from – 8+128GB and 12+256GB, respectively.

Here, the S10 Pro differs from the vanilla model in having the 108MP ISOCELL HM2 sensor. The 1/1.52″ uses nona-binning to capture 12MP native shots. The standard S10 features a 64MP shooter instead. Other than that primary shooter, the 8MP ultrawide sensor and 2MP sensors are common between the two.
