Vivo is getting ready to add a new member to its Y-series. According to the leaks, the upcoming Vivo Y100 will be a 5G-ready mid-range smartphone that is launching soon in India and other markets. Tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) has revealed the specs and launch timeline of this smartphone.

Starting with the display, Vivo Y100 will have a 6.3″ AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate support. It will be powered by a Dimensions 920 5G chipset which is a predecessor to the new Dimensity 1080 that you find on phones like Realme 10 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12 Pro series. According to the tipster, there may be only one 8/128GB variant of the Vivo Y100. But may have virtual RAM expansion by up to 8GB.
Triple cameras
Vivo Y100 will bring a triple camera setup at the back, led by an optically-stabled 64MP sensor. Complementing it will be a couple of 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. For selfies, there will be a 16MP camera on the front.

In terms of power, Vivo Y100 will bring a big 5000mAh battery along with 44W fast charging. This phone is rumored to launch in gold, blue, and black color options. And the gold variant will feature a color-changing back as well. Even for a 2023 phone, Vivo Y100 is rumored to ship with Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 instead of the newer Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android 13.
Vivo Y100 Price in Nepal and Availability
Vivo hasn’t revealed the official launch date of Y100 yet but according to the rumors, it could launch within the next week. It is expected to cost around INR 27,000 to INR 29,000 in the Indian market. We expect the price of the Vivo Y100 in Nepal to be NPR 49,499 if and when it launches here.
