The government has announced that government spending will be based on information technology to maintain frugality and make economic administration more transparent and result-oriented. It is claimed that this will improve the allocation efficiency and implementation capacity of public expenditure.

Similarly, the government is preparing to provide irrigation facilities throughout the year through appropriate irrigation technology based on the geographical and soil resource conditions and water sources. The irrigation master plan has been updated and it is aimed to help the implementation of big projects.

Likewise, the government has prepared to upgrade the technology and system related to land administration and provide the basic services related to land surveying and surveying in an integrated manner from the local level. In which the electronic tax will be prepared according to the allocation of government, public and community land. By developing a scientific land valuation system based on geographic information system, the price of land will be made transparent and realistic. The mapping work will be made more systematic and technical.

All types of records of archaeological, historical, cultural and national importance will be preserved with modern technology. A policy will be taken to purchase electric vehicles in government offices. All major cities will be gradually provided with electric transport operation. The use of information technology will be expanded in the fields of education, health, development, construction and service delivery. An e-governance blueprint will be created by mapping the information systems of public bodies. Arrangements will be made for the integrated operation of information technology mapping, use, quality determination and technical testing used in government and public service delivery.

The service will be provided by maintaining interconnection between online systems operated by government agencies. Online services will be provided from ward level itself. A data exchange platform will be created to exchange data between electronic systems.

Similarly, the government has included in the policies and programs to bring Nepali advertisements or other transactions through the Internet under the scope of regulation and taxation.

It is mentioned in the policy and program to effectively implement the Digital Nepal Framework by modernizing it. The government is preparing to introduce a new telecommunication bill to make telecommunication services more accessible, quality and competitive, which will encourage co-use of telecommunication infrastructure to eliminate duplication in the construction and use of telecommunication infrastructure.
