Windows 11 going public on October 5

Windows 11 will be available on October 5. After months of talking, Microsoft has set an official release date for Windows 11. This OS update is a free OS upgrade for suitable devices with Windows 10.

It will not be available to everyone on October 5, but will be rolled out to everyone. All devices running Windows 11 will receive this update by mid-2022.

Devices from Samsung, Acer, Dell, Asus, HP, Lenovo and Microsoft will get updates faster than other companies. But the company has said that Android app support will not be available when this update is made public. This feature will only be available after the Windows Insider preview.

Android app support is not available for some time now as it takes time to move the mobile app to mouse and keyboard. You may need to upgrade your hardware to install this update.
